Exterior view of PFE refrigerator car No. 81, Class R 30 1, built in 1906 and 1907 by the American Car and Foundry Company. This car is among the earliest PFE wood-sheathed ice-cooled refrigerator cars. These cars were painted dark olive for express service on passenger trains.
