View looking west towards passenger boarding area on the north side of the passenger station. The brick SP hospital is at center in distance. The I Street bridge is to right. The wood construction Central Pacific Railroad passenger station (completed in 1879) is still standing. This photograph may date shortly after the February 27, 1926 dedication of the new brick facility.
