Notes
In 1915, Great Northern Railway and Glacier National Park sponsored an exhibit at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition featuring members of the Blackfeet Nation. On March 16th, the Blackfeet visited Mount Tamalpais and Muir Woods. This image was likely taken near Double Bow-Knot, a common picture spot for tourists on the Mt. Tamalpais Railway. From 1915-1918, photographer and businessman Theodore Clemmens (T. C.) Wohlbruck took orders from travelers who wanted souvenir portraits mailed to them.
