Typed on back: "North Pacific Coast no 20. From an old photo taken at Cazadere. Brakeman Ellis, later mayor of San Rafael, stands in front of the pilot. Engineer Jack Keating, is partly behind the pilot beam. He was elected sheriff of Marin County and resigned from the railroad in 1910. He was serving his 5th term as sheriff at the time of his death. The 30 was built by the N.P.C at Sausalito in 1900. Parts of the P.R.C. No. 6 were said to have been sed in her construction. She later became N.W.P. No 84. Drivers, 47 in. Cylinders, 13 x 18 in. Wt. on drivers, 33000lbs. Steam, 150 lds. In 1914, when I was firing her, we turned over near Lagunitas. No one was hurt. She was scrapped in 1924."
