History / Biographical
George A. Gray began his career with the Southern Pacific July 23, 1923. In 1925, he went to Calexico as a telegrapher-clerk. He began working on the Harbor Belt Line Railroad, Wilmington Yard Office, at the Los Angeles Harbor in 1929. In 1944 he was first telegrapher at Santa Barbara, and later moved on to Firestone Park.
