This railroad, never built, was to run between San Francisco and Los Angeles, passing through Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Fresno, Tulare, Kern and Los Angeles Counties with branches to Merced, Fresno and Bakersfield.
